This morning, ABM emerged from months of extensive plastic surgery, removed the first layer of bandages, and showed the world a brand-spanking new face… or, well, a brand-spanking new Web site anyway. And front-and-center—between rows of new navigation channels and a continuously updating ticker featuring member news—sits the site’s crown jewel: The American Business Media Video Network. (wait for it… wait for it…) Business Information @ Work. On line. On-demand. On the Money.
The Video Network debuted this morning at with a welcome from ABM chairman Mike Marchesano and president & CEO Gordon Hughes, followed by an interview with Diana Henriques, financial reporter for The New York Times and 2007 Neal Judge, taking an in-depth look at the 53rd Annual Jesse H. Neal Business Journalism Awards. (I’m in there too, somewhere.) The Video Network broadcasts live every other week on Wednesday mornings at 9:00 AM, after which all broadcasts will be available for on-demand viewing. (Meaning—if you missed our smashing online debut this morning, you should go to www.AmericanBusinessMedia.com and check it out. Now. Just sayin.)
And tomorrow, following its unveiling at the Neal Awards Luncheon Ceremony, ABM’s new logo will grace the InterWeb pages of our new site. Turns out we weren’t content with just a nose job—we’re going for an entire new face. And after spending all this time & money, we better end up good looking. As in hot-to-trot. Get ready.
