As MediaLife reports, Reuters claims it was asked by FEMA to refrain from running photos, or taking photos, of the dead left in the wake of Katrina. Already FEMA and the administration have been under fire from multiple media for mismanagement of yet another major event, and are tying to back peddle on accountability. Now it appears the agency is touching on an area that will bring media to a boiling point. Luckily powerhouse media outlets like the Washington Post are calling out FEMA. This seems like another time when media needs support to overcome yet another assault editorial integrity.
