Huffington on blogs
Arianna Huffington was the capstone speaker at ABM's Spring Meeting today and she spoke frankly about the strength of media in the blogosphere. The originator of The HuffingtonPost and one of Time's 100 most influential people, Huffington said, "You have to have people who are comfortable in the digital world - who can swim in those waters," when establishing a blog. She added that such an effort is no part-time task and encouraged media bloggers to grab stories with courage and passion. "To be effective, you have to be obsessive," she said.
ABM's Spring Meeting concludes this evening. We will post more about the event in the coming days.
