Look ahead to video

Web video will be the most dominant medium across the globe in just a few years. Count that as a prediction. Right now, broadband is expanding to the point where is video is becoming accessible to millions. The MPA has just suggested its role in magazines is growing. Other video-based offerings, such as vlogs like Rocketboom, are generating 250,000 hits a day and $40,000 commercial packages. With mobile devices supporting video and desktops accessing video as easy as the do Google, Web-based video will offer a tremendous competitive advantage to those business media companies who adopt it most quickly and courageously.
