You are wealthy and hip
If you are reading this now, stats show you are financially fine, younger and "hip," and ready to shop online. This may be because ABM offers key information to help you succeed throughout the e-media world, but it is most certainly because a recent study shows blog readers have those superlative characteristics. The study Behaviors of the Blogosphere, conducted by comScore, states that not only did 50 million U.S. Internet users visit blog sites the first quarter of this year, but users are more likely to live in wealthier households and are more likely to buy online. What does this mean for B-to-B? It means the younger generation - read "future buyers" - is warm to this medium and it is gaining strength as a way for B-to-B to reach a new, younger audience. Media blogs, such as ABM member MediaBistro, make the list of most frequented (MediaPace was uncharted yet, we feel, climbing) and attests that it is more than gossip and basement philosophy making waves in the blogosphere.
